Teacher driven and automated learning for teaching spelling all in one! Use the built-in Systematic Synthetic Phonics progressions, build your own Custom lists or let the Automated Learning System manage students’ progress. 45,000+ word vocabulary, worksheets, engaging games, precise reporting.

Teachers can take direct control with their own Custom Spelling Lists, select the Built-In lists or build their own lists. Alternatively, let Spelling Force automatically manage students’ levelling and progression. Automatic mode continuously tracks each student’s performance and progresses them. Manual Selection mode allows teachers and parents to set and monitor work to be completed.

Use any of the included 3 full Systematic Synthetic Phonics spelling progressions including: NSW Syllabus NSW Suggested Instructional Sequences: Early Stage 1, Stages 1, 2, and 3 with 4,300+ words; Australian Curriculum and Literacy Hub progression Years K - 3, Stages 1 – 28 with 4,200+ words; or The National Curriculum England English Appendix 1: Spelling with 2,700+ words. Custom lists can also be used with appropriately licensed lists from 3rd party publishers including Sound Waves, PLD Literacy, MultiLit, Alpha to Omega and more. These lists are not included.

There is a huge inbuilt vocabulary of over 45,000+ words starting with “at” and “cat” and progressing all the way to “rambunctious” — more than enough to accommodate struggling students and to extend the most able with words that are just right for them.

Each spelling word is used in a context sentence and misspellings, dictionary definitions and syllabification are also included. The spelling words and sentences are all voiced.

Activities include a Test mode, Look Listen Learn, and a collection of interactive games. There is also a range of powerful reports and printable spelling work sheets that can be generated for all lists. For Australians there is a NAPLAN simulation mode that mimics the spelling section of the NAPLAN online testing.
