Impact Assessment offers high-quality, curriculum-aligned and data-driven assessments and analysis. Powered by Smartgrade UK’s quality edtech platform, we give educators the tools they need to transform assessment into a practical evidence-based teaching and learning tool to help all students progress. Schools can access Ochre Education curriculum-aligned assessments, or use their own custom assessments.

Assessments are designed by experts to accurately measure students’ progress through the curriculum, and give teachers detailed meaningful information to adjust instruction. Standardised assessments give teachers, leaders and students a clear understanding of performance in context and make it easy to spot patterns in performance.

Impact Assessment includes detailed reports from our end of unit, mid-year and end of year assessments. We offer standardised, cohort-benchmarked reporting broken down into topic and question level analysis. Our assessment reports directly link to Ochre materials and include easy signposting about next steps in teaching and learning. Students can take the assessments online or offline, with easy and speedy data entry through markbooks and automated marking for some tasks. Impact Assessment is powered by Smartgrade – a platform used by 1,100+ schools and 400,000+ students in the UK. It works on any browser, with easy data sync. We take data protection very seriously; all data is held in Australia.
