Overview

Baggin’ the Dragon Maths builds maths power & problem-solving strategies, using automated Adaptive Learning to optimise individualised learning pathways for each student. Builds problem solving skills. 10,000+ maths questions covering over 90% of the curriculum. Ages 5 – 15+.

At the heart of Baggin’ the Dragon is a bank of over 10,000 questions that build mathematical reasoning skills and flexible problem-solving strategies. The questions cover: Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Fractions, Percentages, Ratio & Proportion, Numeration, Shape, Space, Measurement, Geometry, Data, Statistics, Graphs, Probability, Patterns, Algebra.

This revolutionary learning environment is powered by EdAlive’s advanced Adaptive Learning system which creates and maintains individualised learning pathways across multiple topics for each student. This automated progression frees teachers from the challenge of managing their students’ progress: instead, teachers can focus on helping students with their maths skills rather than manually adjusting learning levels.

Students can access the maths content directly or engage with the maths content through the incredible, fully interactive Baggin’ the Dragon game where each player’s actions directly affect the gameplay of others. Each player competes at their own adaptive maths level, so every player has a real chance of winning. Match 6-year-old Tina’s tables against Peter’s proportion and Dad’s decimals, with each player automatically levelled by the adaptive learning system.

The inbuilt sound support system allows younger users to work independently as if they had an adult to read along with them! As the reading age increases, sound support is reduced to allow students to think the meaning of the text rather than verbalise individual words as they read.
Powerful reports put teachers in touch with the results accrued by each student. Teachers can relate progress to curriculum outcomes.
